A sad song

January 22, 2017

I’m locked up in the prison of memories –
where the sun-rays never arrive –
sitting and waiting for an orphan spark
to fire up my frozen heart.

You are light years away.

Loneliness and darkness surrounds my soul.
They confined my songs, in the Halls of Silence.
Your last kisses still dancing on my lips…
like dying flowers in the autumn breeze.

They are waiting peacefully to die.

The murky skies whipped the stars;
even the Moon has melted away.
Darkness is the ruler of the times.
I feel cold and patronized…

And my tears land on my heart.
